| Swing Correctly for Difficult Shots
There are courses which are really challenging to every golf enthusiast. We have mountain courses, where there are knock downs, impossible lies and shots where you need to hook or slice the ball to keep it in play. In comparison to this a ball sitting above your feet, might appear an easy shot. However, not many golfers know how to tackle this correctly.
When you swing, keep your weight on the balls of your feet and your upper body leant forwards throughout the swing. This will allow the club to swing straight into the line of the ball, reducing the tendency to hook to the left. You can open the clubface at set-up, when hitting from a steep hill. This normally sends the ball to the right, and this will compensates the effect of the slope. Use your normal swing, your body rotating around the spinal axis. Ensure your body follows through, leading your arms and hands, or you will hook the ball to the left, and probably hit "fat" behind the ball. So follow through for a clean, straight contact with the ball, sending it onto the green for a nice birdie putt.
Learn to master the swing when you find the ball sitting above your feet. You need to practice more of this to improve your golf game.
