At times you need the ball to follow a high trajectory. When you need to stop quickly before entering the green, or get over trees and other obstacles. To hit a high shot in golf, you don’t have to change your swing. You do need to make two small adjustments in your normal set up.
First place the ball further forward in your stance than normal, towards your left foot. The club head will swing up through the ball, meeting it with the most possible loft of the club because of this. Lean your upper body quite far to the right, putting more weight than normal onto your right foot at set up.  This body position will help you to stay behind the ball while swinging. The club will be in just the right position to strike the ball at the start of the upswing. This will enable a nice, high shot. The more you lean your upper body, the higher your shot will travel. You can also open the clubface at set-up to increase the loft of the club, for extra height. You will need to aim left to compensate, as this also means you will slice the ball to the right. This allows you to play over any obstacle, high and happy.
So follow this advice about the ball and the upper body position.  This will facilitate you in playing those high shots in golf.
